Frank Romano on VDP
When trying to determine facts, it's best to go to the source or an expert. Following is an email exchange we had with Frank Romano (the source and the expert) on the claim that he was the creator of the term, "variable data printing".
It's clear from Dr. Romano's response he does not take credit for coining the term, "variable data printing", but does tell us of the first appearance of the term in one of his many books. We redacted personal information for security purposes.
